Adult Choir rehearses every Sunday morning from 8:30-9:20 to prepare for 9:30 mass. New Singers are needed and highly enoucouraged to join us at any time! St. Mary's has a wonderful congregation that really sings out to the Lord! If you've been thinking about joining, now is always the time! K-12 Children's Choir is beginning Sunday November 4th after 9:30 mass/coffee donuts downstairs. We will rehearse from 10:45-11:15. I encourage family to join us in singing or to be prompt in picking up your children @11:15. We will be preparing for Family Masses at this time. Selection of music for St. Mary's masses is done by committee. We follow the diocesan guidelines and music guidelines set by Oregon Catholic Press. The committee prays, reads and discusses the readings. This information, along with our own personal spiritual and musical compasses, helps us choose our music for Sunday masses. Suggestions are always welcome and they should be emailed to Louine or just drop her a note at the piano or organ. |
