Effective July 1, 2009: St. Mary's Church became part of All Saints Parish.
All Saints Parish Mission Statement: All Saints Parish is a Roman Catholic faith community on the coast of Maine. our common mission is to become the saints of today as disciples, evangelists, and stewards of Jesus Christ. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit, formed by His Word, and nourished by the Eurcharist. We believe and we share.
—> Eucharistic Adoration follows 8:00 a.m. Mass every Friday at St. Mary's. Recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and other prayers are included in this half hour of loving adoration of our Blessed Savior, truly present in the Holy Eurcharist, as well as quiet time for private prayer and reflection.
—> Fr. R. Michael McGarrigle, 85, was called to his eternal reward on Friday, July 23, 2010.
Rev. Michael ("Fr. Mike") McGarrigle Born on October 9, 1924, Fr. McGarrigle completed his clerical studies and formation at St. Mary's Seminary, Baltimore. He was ordained to the priesthood by the Most Rev. Daniel J. Feeney on June 11, 1949. Along with several assignments to various chaplaincies and diocesan boards, he served in the following communities: Holy Name, Machias; St. Athanasius, Rumford; St. Ann, Peter Dana Point; St. Ann, Pleasant Point; St. Mary, Houlton; St. Thomas, Dover-Foxcroft; St. Bartholomew, Cape Elizabeth (Founding Pastor); St. Joseph, Portland; and St. Mary, Bath (from which he retired after 18 years). Father celebrated his 61st anniversary to the priesthood this past June. Although he retired from full-time parish ministry and administration in 1994, he continued to provide ministry as a retired priest, especially in the Churches of All Saints Parish. He became a faithful member of our parish and celebrated his significant anniversaries with us. We, the family of faith at All Saints Parish, acknowledge the remarkable dedication and selfless service of Father McGarrigle to us. We will miss him greatly. May his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed rest in peace.
—> The monthly Charismatic Healing Service at St. Mary's Church is suspended indefinitely because of Fr. Rice's retirement.
—> Church Refreshments Please join us for coffee, juice, and snacks after 9:30 Mass every Sunday in the Parish Center. You may bring a snack to share, but it is not necessary.
